Hi.

Welcome.
If no one's told you yet today, you look brilliant.

I adore Shelflove Crate and have been remiss in sharing more about them on The Joyful Pen, but for October I got it together to show you all the amazing items that came in this month's box. If you're wowed by what you see here, you should know that it's every bit as awesome every month, this is the rare box where every month I feel like I'm getting way more than I'm paying for.

Each month the box always a treat to open, with everything wrapped in paper and tied up with string, making it essentially Pinterest perfect every time you open a new box.
This month the team wanted to take readers on an "Enchanted Journey" creating a well-curated box of adventure themed items.

The first item in the box is an exclusive Wizard of Oz tote designed by Instagram royalty, @eviebookish, which is combines real world traveling practicality as you pack up your books for your next adventure, with a special nod to that famous fictional yellow brick road journey.

Next up we have an adorable little candle from @biblioflames, with an exclusive scent designed just for the box. The Fellowship candle not only smells lovely with it's scents of sweet fresh mountain breeze with notes of juniper, oakmoss, and berries, but it also has a surprise layer of gold glitter on top.

Then there was another exclusive item: (spoiler alert, almost everything in this box is exclusive to the box!) a compass mug, designed by Intuerito that the team hopes will guide "your way through every single adventure, even if it is waking up on a Monday morning."

I actually gasped out loud when I unrolled the canvas roll included in the box and it was revealed to be a map of Prythian designed by @inkandwonder.designs! I LOVE their work, and this exclusive map is an absolute dream. I don't know if I should attach dowels and hang it or frame it! Whatever I decide to do I can't wait to showcase this stunning piece.

@dianadowrak designed an exclusive set of tarot-style cards inspired by A Darker Shade of Magic. This book was a DNF for me, and despite hearing good things about it, I don't know that I'll return to the series, so if you live in the U.S. and would be interested in receiving this set of cards comment below and I'll randomly select a recipient!

And the featured book this month is An Enchantment of Ravens! Included with the book is a signed bookplate and an exclusive author's letter. I have heard such great things about this book and am glad to finally own a copy.

Included in every box is a postcard with a special piece of artwork on the front, a bookmark or two, and a two-sided card that serves as both the details for all of the items in the box and the preview for the following month's theme. I really love the artwork for this month's postcard- it feels dreamy.
